Job summary

August Energy in the Philippines seeks a senior professional to lead Project Management & Asset Operations for front-of-the-meter solar projects, both ground-mounted and rooftop. The role involves end-to-end project lifecycle oversight, driving efficient operations and optimized asset performance.

Responsibilities include planning, execution, regulatory compliance, stakeholder coordination, reporting, and risk management to ensure profitability and project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Up to 10 years successful experience in Front of the Meter solar project management and asset operations.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, grid integration, and energy storage solutions
• Fully proficient in English.
• Willingness to travel across the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and completion of solar projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Oversee operation and maintenance of solar assets for optimal performance.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with internal teams, EPC contractors, vendors, and government agencies for smooth project delivery.
• Prepare MIS reports and progress updates (daily, monthly).
• Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks in solar plant management.
• Implement data-driven strategies to boost energy output and asset longevity.
• Manage budget planning, cost analysis, and resource allocation to optimize profitability.
