Job summary

Vena Group is seeking an EBOP Specialist to oversee QA/QC, HSSE compliance, and commissioning activities for a solar project in the Philippines. The role requires coordinating with multiple teams and external EPC contractors to ensure quality workmanship across substation, transmission lines and cabling.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering with 5–10 years of experience in power plant construction, familiarity with PEC/IEEE/IEC standards, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or civil engineering or related technical field.
• 5–10 years in power plant construction.
• Thorough understanding of PEC, IEEE/IEC substation and transmission line standards.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD is desirable.
• Willing to be relocated on site.

Responsibilities

• HSSE management: monitor HSSE performance with site HSE Manager.
• Inspect and verify quality procedures for PV plant construction.
• Ensure quality of substation, transmission line installation and commissioning.
• Oversee test procedures, inspection schedules and QA/QC audits.
• Review materials quality at manufacturing site and construction site.
