Job summary

JoyRide seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and drive infrastructure and engineering operations. You will modernize our processes and build a robust CI/CD pipeline while balancing speed and security. As a lean startup, you’ll touch many tech areas and collaborate with the Head of Software Engineering and tech leads.

You will lead architectural decisions, implement scalable infrastructure, stay current with web tech, and mentor the team to improve product development workflows and practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP.
• Experience configuring Linux systems.
• Proficient in networking and infrastructure components like ELB.
• Familiarity with log/trace monitoring and observability tools.
• Strong background in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience deploying to production environments.
• Track record in implementing CD through to production.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical implementation and architecture of software products.
• Develop and ensure platform efficiency and security.
• Design and develop infrastructure and architectural designs with other tech leaders.
• Stay current with web apps and programming languages.
• Mentor engineers and refine product and process.
• Improve internal standards via code reviews and best practices.
