Essential Technical Skills:

• Proven experience leading small to medium technical teams, including task delegation, technical escalation, supporting team members, and participating in Agile ceremonies and client meetings.
• Expertise in designing and implementing logical and physical data models for cloud and hybrid data warehouse environments.
• Experience developing data architectures that support various data formats structured, semi-structured, and unstructured.
• Hands-on experience with full lifecycle data warehouse projects.
• Understanding of data architecture requirements for data integration processes.
• Proficiency with data modeling tools such as ER/Studio, ER/Win, or similar.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Data Platform services, including Azure Data Lake Store, Azure Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Logic Apps, and APIs.
• Ability to quickly learn, adopt, and apply new technologies.
• Skills in data profiling and creating source-to-target data mappings.
• Capable of provisioning and configuring Azure data services.

Detailed Technical Skills:

• Python and SQL scripting expertise.
• Experience with SQL and PySpark.
• Knowledge of general cloud architecture able to translate requirements into data pipelines.
• API development skills are required; preference for candidates who can also create APIs.

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Certifications:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cosmos DB, Data Flows, ExpressRoute, and Azure Active Directory.
• Proven ability to develop strategies for migrating clients from on-premise environments to Azure.
• Power BI and semantic modeling experience.
• Knowledge of AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage.
• Experience with AWS Athena, Azure Databricks, AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse Analytics.
