Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a capable Project Manager to lead a Carbon Plant operation and commissioning within a heavy industry setting in the Philippines. You will oversee process control, maintenance, and coke handling logistics to ensure on-time volumes meet quality standards.

The role requires expertise in aluminium smelter projects, strong project lifecycle management, and solid budgeting, safety, and ISO-compliance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience in aluminium smelter projects is required.
• Must have led projects of similar scale and complexity.
• Experience managing a team with similar expertise.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, process control and maintenance of Carbon Plant to ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage safety to meet zero-harm goals during installation and commissioning.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead project lifecycle from planning to handover.

• 1.Timely Project execution, commissioning and material management of Carbon expansion project.
• 2. Meeting of all the cashflow deadline on time .
• 3. Project safety manangement to ensure zero harm in entire installaiton and commissiong of the project
• 4. External and internal Stakeholder management.

Job Brief

• 1. To take responsibility for operation, process control, maintenance ofCarbon Plant for on time delivery of volumes to the Pot Room as per quality standards as well as the coke handling system including transfer system of coke handling from railway unloading site to coke silo to green anode plant
• 2.To implement quality, safety, health, environment parameters as well as statutory stipulations, train the team and drive improvement initiatives towards sustainability.

Area of Relevant Experience

• Must have experience in Aluminium smelter projects.
• Have worked in project of similar facility.
