Job summary

QBE Group Shared Services Centre is seeking an experienced DevOps/RPA capability lead to build automated solutions in iterative cycles, including macros/VBA, RPAs, and web services. The role emphasizes governance, quality, and delivering efficient designs that meet business goals.

The candidate will work with business stakeholders, re-engineering teams, and IT peers to implement scalable automation, drive CI/CD, and mentor junior engineers in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
5+ years of experience in Pega Robotics or any RPA tool (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism).
At least 8+ years of professional programming experience (incl. scripting/coding, .Net, Python).
Strong written and verbal English communication; ability to interact with management and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Build complex automation solutions using RPA technologies and other platforms.
Collaborate with BPR team, stakeholders to translate needs into scalable designs.
Implement and maintain CI/CD, test and deployment automation and quality-focused development.
Lead and mentor Process Automation Engineers; drive multiple initiatives.
Engage stakeholders with prototypes to gather feedback and steer delivery.
Ensure alignment with governance and delivery models and risk controls.
