EPAM is seeking a Lead Automation Engineer to drive the automation testing strategy and guide a team toward high-quality solutions. You will shape testing practices and ensure seamless integration with modern development workflows.
You will define test processes, lead a skilled team, and collaborate with global peers on automation initiatives, ensuring robust testing across multiple platforms and technologies.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of professional experience in automation engineering.
- Minimum of 1 year of people management or team leadership (5+ FTE).
- Experience with automation testing integrated in DevOps pipelines.
- Hands-on automation using Katalon Studio and Appium.
- Experience with unit testing and UX testing activities.
- Familiarity with TDD and BDD frameworks.
- Background in fast-paced Agile environments.
Responsibilities
- Define the overall test strategy across automation activities.
- Establish tool configuration and setup to support automation initiatives.
- Enhance Katalon Studio framework and expand its capabilities.
- Add detailed test cases covering key areas and scenarios.
- Coach and support the automation team throughout the lifecycle.
- Integrate automation reports with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Train team members on automation best practices and processes.
