Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated is seeking a Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join the Capex project team in India. You will design, build and bring to life a greenfield facility while collaborating with global engineering peers and partners.

The role covers the full cycle from detailed design through startup and long-term operations. You will lead instrumentation scope, review technical deliverables, and guide system selection, commissioning, and handover.

Qualifications

Lead automation, instrumentation, or controls projects in manufacturing.
Hands-on with DCS, PLC, SCADA systems.
Knowledge of DeltaV is a plus.
Experience in commissioning and startup activities.

Responsibilities

Lead instrumentation and controls scope from design to startup and handover.
Review P&IDs, control philosophies, system architecture, data sheets and I/O lists.
Guide selection and application of field instruments, valves, analyzers, safety devices.
Develop control strategies, interlocks, alarms, and operating sequences with process teams.
Support supplier evaluation, vendor selection, and FAT for control systems.
Assist site installation, calibration, testing, commissioning, and performance stabilization.
Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance with proper documentation.
