Job summary

THE COMPANY is seeking a QEHS Lead Auditor in Metro Manila to review second party audit packs and ensure compliance with ISO 9001/14001/45001 and QHSEE requirements. The role demands strong knowledge of auditing principles, regulatory alignment, and coordination with BA teams.

The candidate should have at least 4 years in QEHS management systems, possess Lead Auditor qualifications, and be fluent in English. On-site in Muntinlupa with health benefits and training support.

Qualifications

  • University degree in a technical field and fluent English.
  • At least 4 years in QEHS or related management systems.
  • Lead Auditor qualification for QEHS is advantageous.
  • Experience with ISO 9001/14001/45001 is advantageous.
  • Audits and BA teams experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Verify audit packs comply with QHSEE requirements.
  • Ensure audit output supports the audit team's recommendations.
  • Raise queries constructively when items are not adequate.
  • Perform reviews promptly per KPI targets.
  • Maintain knowledge of QA, QHSEE standards and processes.

Primary Responsibilities

The GBS Technical Reviewer has to check that ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 and/or QHSE second party audit report packs comply with all relevant requirements. The Technical Reviewer’s responsibility is to verify that the audit has been conducted in accordance with all THE COMPANY’S procedural, accreditation and/or QHSE second party audit requirements, including team competence, audit time spent, structure of audit plan etc. and to confirm that the output of the audit is technically appropriate and adequate to support the recommendation of the audit team.

Specific Responsibilities

Check audit report packs confirming that the audit has been conducted in accordance with all THE COMPANY’S QHSE procedural, accreditation and second party audit requirements, and that the output of the audit is technically appropriate and adequate to support the audit team’s recommendation

  • Raise queries to the relevant person if any of the above items are not adequate.
  • Phrase the queries in a constructive way
  • Perform the review in a timely manner (per the target of KPI)
  • Use the relevant IT applications as necessary (CertIQ, Digiapp)
  • Maintain an accurate and up to date knowledge of:
  • specific management system standards/normative documents
  • THE COMPANY’S BA processes and procedures as well as accreditation requirements
  • audit principles, practices and techniques
  • client Business Sector
  • Complies with the Quality, Health and Safety, Environment and Energy (QHSEE) policies and supporting objectives including, but not limited to:
  • Demonstrates strong obligation to THE COMPANY’S QHSEE policies, procedures and work instructions by actively participating in meetings, projects and events, completes required training, intervenes in unsafe situations, refuses unsafe work, and complies fully with all applicable laws and regulations related to HSEE
  • Perform appropriately and immediately to emergency situations and assists other staff members in maintaining readiness to respond to emergencies within the workplace
  • Disposes or directs the disposal of waste generated as a part of daily work performed in a safe manner and in compliance with the disposal regulations and requirements, and in accordance with THE COMPANY’S Environmental Management System requirements
  • Reports all incidents, including near misses and hazards, that may affect the achievement of QHSEE objectives in accordance with THE COMPANY’S Incident Reporting and Management requirements
  • Efficiently uses all equipment, including safety equipment, and company owned property in the manner intended and reports any damaged / lost equipment to immediate superior
  • Maintains a safe and tidy worksite according to the organization’s 5S program and guidelines
  • Maintains awareness of the safety and health related hazards and environmental aspects and proposes action plans to control the risks to immediate superior or QHSEE Coordinators
  • Actively participates in incident investigations and risk assessments as deemed necessary by THE COMPANY’S management
  • Fulfills the requirements needed in the success of the QHSEE Management System
  • Recognizes the potential consequences of not following the established policies, procedures, and guidelines, including not fulfilling the organization’s compliance obligations

Profile

  • University degree preferably in a relevant technical subject (science, engineering, business)
  • Fluency in English
  • At least 4 years workplace experience in a position related to Quality or Environmental or Occupational Safety & Health management systems
  • Successfully passed of at least two Lead Auditor course for QEHS Management systems
  • Completed other QEHS management systems and scheme-specific training (e.g. NEBOSH or similar, pollution control officer, etc) would be an advantage
  • Auditor or Lead Auditor qualification for QEHS Management systems is an advantage
  • Any experience related to ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 and/or ISO45001 certification is an advantage
