Job summary

Multisys Technologies Corporation is seeking an experienced Android Developer to lead the development and maintenance of high-quality Android applications across the full lifecycle, from concept to delivery. You will provide technical leadership to the team and mentor junior developers.

The role requires deep expertise in Android, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into robust mobile solutions, with a focus on performance and user experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Android app development with published apps.
• Strong knowledge of the Android SDK, Android versions, and responsive layouts.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android apps to back-end services.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Ability to design apps around touch-based UI and natural interactions.
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and common libraries.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specs.
• Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship features.
• Define app architecture including database structure, APIs, and backend services.
• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
