Job summary

Metroguards Security Agency Corporation in Ortigas, Pasig, Philippines seeks an experienced Finance Manager to oversee all accounting operations and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires leadership, strong technical accounting knowledge, and effective cross-department coordination in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise financial statement preparation, budgeting, and policy development while managing cash flow and tax filings. Onsite work in Ortigas is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; CPA preferred but non-CPAs may apply.
• At least 5 years progressive experience in accounting/finance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and BIR regulations.
• Proficient in accounting systems and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience managing a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall financial and accounting operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Supervise the preparation and analysis of financial statements, management reports, and budgets.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, systems, and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls.
• Manage cash flow, forecasting, and financial planning to support company objectives.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, statutory reports, and compliance with BIR and other regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government agencies as necessary.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the accounting team, fostering continuous development and accountability.
• Monitor and control company expenses and recommend cost-saving strategies.
• Support management in strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and analysis.
