CALMAR LAND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION in the Philippines seeks a Land Acquisition Supervisor to support land acquisition activities, conduct due diligence, and manage documentation and monitoring processes.
You will coordinate site inspections, maintain land records, monitor agricultural landholdings, oversee leasing operations, and contribute to SOPs and QMS compliance across the department.
The Land Acquisition Supervisor is responsible for supporting the execution of land acquisition activities and ensuring that all due diligence, documentation, and monitoring processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
This role focuses on coordinating site inspections, managing land records, monitoring agricultural landholdings, and ensuring compliance with legal and operational requirements. The position also assists in land banking, leasing operations, and the implementation of departmental systems and procedures.
Land Acquisition - Assist in identifying and evaluating potential land acquisition opportunities by coordinating site inspections, conducting preliminary assessments, supporting negotiations, preparing acquisition documents, and ensuring the completeness of requirements prior to submission.
Due Diligence Coordination - Support due diligence activities by gathering and verifying legal, technical, and ownership documents, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, monitoring progress, and maintaining complete records and checklists.
Land Bank Monitoring - Maintain and update the land inventory database, monitor the status of the raw land bank, ensure proper documentation, and track land availability for future development projects.
Agricultural Land Monitoring - Conduct regular site inspections of agricultural landholdings, monitor and report issues such as illegal occupancy, encroachment, and land disputes, and coordinate with relevant teams to address concerns while ensuring proper documentation.
Agricultural Leasing - Assist in the implementation and administration of lease agreements by maintaining tenant records, monitoring lessee compliance, supporting lease renewals, and coordinating leasing-related activities.
Administrative and Records Management - Maintain accurate and organized records of land titles, contracts, and agreements, ensure proper document filing, support audit and compliance requirements, and contribute to the improvement of documentation processes.
Budget Monitoring - Assist in tracking land acquisition and operational expenses, monitor budget utilization, prepare supporting reports, and ensure proper documentation of expenditures.
Quality Management System (QMS) Support - Support the implementation and continuous improvement of departmental processes by maintaining updated SOPs, process workflows, and documentation, while ensuring compliance with company QMS standards.
Reporting - Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on land acquisition activities, land status, and emerging issues, providing relevant updates that support management decision-making.
Perform other related duties as may be assigned by superior from time to time.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: At least 2 to 4 years of experience in land acquisition, real estate, or a related field. Experience in documentation, land monitoring, or fieldwork is an advantage.
Competencies:
