About the role

ZC KINGS MANPOWER COOPERATIVE is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Aide to join our team in Bagumbayan, Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting laboratory operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of our technical services. As a Laboratory Aide, you will work alongside laboratory professionals to maintain equipment, prepare specimens, and assist with various technical procedures. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of accuracy and safety that our clients depend on.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing laboratory specimens and samples according to standardised procedures and protocols

• Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results

• Assisting laboratory technicians and technologists with testing and analysis procedures

• Cleaning, sterilising and organising laboratory equipment and workstations

• Recording and documenting test results and laboratory data accurately

• Labelling and storing samples and reagents following proper safety and storage guidelines

• Following laboratory safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Assisting with the inventory management of laboratory supplies and materials

• Maintaining compliance with laboratory standards and quality assurance procedures

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification (GED)

• Proven experience as a Laboratory Aide, Laboratory Assistant or similar role in a laboratory or technical services environment

• Strong understanding of basic laboratory procedures and safety protocols

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recording data and preparing samples

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

• Physical capability to perform duties including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 15 kg

• Good communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Reliability and punctuality with a professional attitude

• Basic computer literacy is advantageous

• Relevant certification in laboratory practice or phlebotomy is preferred but not essential
