Job summary

Specialist SEND Group is seeking a KS3/4 Tutor specialising in Maths and English to inspire and support students in their academic journey. You will deliver engaging, personalised sessions for Key Stage 3 and 4 learners, with a focus on confidence-building and achievement.

This role includes paid planning time and close collaboration with guardians and schools. The ideal candidate has QTS or equivalent and experience with SEND/SEMH needs, plus strong behaviour management and the ability to craft

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging tutoring sessions in Maths and English for KS3 and KS4.
• Deliver set hours of face-to-face tuition per week.
• Include 1 hour of paid planning and administration time weekly.
• Assess student needs and develop tailored lesson plans to address gaps.
• Support exam preparation, homework, and coursework to improve understanding.
• Foster a positive learning environment with active participation.
• Track student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and staff.
• Collaborate with school, local authority or guardians to align support.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS3/4 Tutor specialising in Maths and English to inspire and support students in their academic journey. Duties

• Deliver engaging and personalised tutoring sessions in Maths and English for students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels
• Deliver set hours of face-to-face tuition per week.
• Receive an additional 1 hour of paid planning and administration time each week.
• Assess individual student needs and develop tailored lesson plans to address gaps and reinforce strengths
• Support students with exam preparation, homework, and coursework to improve understanding and performance
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages active participation and confidence-building
• Track student progress regularly, providing feedback to students, parents, and relevant staff
• Collaborate with school, local authority or guardians to ensure consistent support for each student’s educational goals.
