Socrates Educa International School is located in Salou, south of Barcelona, with capacity for up to 800 students. The school is inclusive and provides education for students aged 1 to 18+. It is the first school to operate under the Socrates Educa model, an innovative pedagogical system. The school is a trilingual English, Spanish and Catalan institution offering Pre-school, Primary, Secondary, National and International Baccalaureate programmes as well as the US High School Dual Diploma. Chinese is also taught as a foreign language. The curriculum is based on the local framework but influenced by international teachers and delivered mainly in English. We are seeking a Secondary Maths and Physics teacher with experience in both national and International Baccalaureate curricula. The position begins in September 2026. The successful candidate will teach students aged 12 to 18 and will also serve as a tutor.
International experience is essential. IB experience is desirable. Knowledge of the Spanish ESO and Bachillerato curriculum, as well as Spanish and Catalan language skills, are advantageous. Experience with UCAS or the Duke of Edinburgh's Award is also useful.
