Job summary

Quality Choices Group of Companies is seeking a hardworking Kitchen Steward to keep the dishwashing area clean and orderly. You will wash and sanitize dishes, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and ensure proper storage of tools.

The role requires physical stamina and a willingness to work shifting schedules including weekends and holidays, in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Training will cover sanitation and safety standards to support our team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in kitchen steward or dishwasher roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and hygiene practices is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Willing to work shifting schedules, weekends and holidays.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen, dishwashing area, and other assigned work areas.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of clean kitchen tools and equipment.
• Dispose of kitchen waste properly and follow waste segregation procedures.
• Assist in maintaining kitchen sanitation and food safety standards.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report low stocks or damaged equipment to the supervisor.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic preparation and other tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
