Job summary

ACJB Savory and Sweet Corporation in the Philippines is looking for a Steward / Kitchen Assistant to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen and back-of-house areas while supporting the kitchen team with basic operational tasks.

You will follow health, sanitation, and food safety policies, wear the prescribed uniform, wash hands regularly, and work collaboratively with Kitchen Staff, Waitstaff, Cashier, Supervisor, and other employees to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Maintain personal hygiene and grooming on duty.
• Wear complete uniform and required protective equipment.
• Wash hands properly and regularly, especially before handling food and after cleaning activities.
• Follow health, sanitation, and food safety policies.
• Maintain a respectful, professional attitude and follow supervisor instructions.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, sanitize, and store plates, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, sinks, counters, and tables.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation areas before and after use.
• Dispose of garbage and waste; segregate waste per company procedures.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation and ingredient organization.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries when assigned.
• Check food items and supplies for proper condition and report damaged or expired items.
• Replenish kitchen supplies, condiments, utensils, and other items.
• Handle kitchen equipment and cleaning materials properly; report malfunctions.
• Work cooperatively with Kitchen Staff, Waitstaff, Cashier, Supervisor, and other employees.
