STEP Foundation seeks a Program Manager to support Karnataka-based engagement with government and industry partners. The role focuses on translating strategic priorities into actionable execution, coordinating with officials, and driving programme activities to deliver tangible outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of experience in government-facing programmes, strong Kannada and English, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of professional experience with government, public institutions, development organisations, consulting firms or public policy programmes.
• Experience working with government, industry, and development stakeholders is preferred.
• Strong understanding of government processes and multi-stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Government Stakeholder Coordination: manage relationships with government departments and agencies in Karnataka and translate discussions into clear next steps.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Follow-through: build relationships with ecosystem stakeholders, prepare agendas and notes.
• Industry & Ecosystem Engagement: coordinate with industry bodies, investors and private sector to translate discussions into partnerships and programmes.
• Reporting, Tracking & Internal Coordination: maintain trackers and prepare status updates for leadership.
• Supporting State-Level Representation: represent STEP Foundation in meetings and prepare for high-level government engagements.
• Track programme performance and prepare updates for the State Lead and leadership.
