Job summary

Capgemini is hiring for a backend/data engineering role focused on building and operating distributed streaming systems. The candidate will work on event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka, manage topics and schemas, and ensure high-availability of streaming pipelines.

Qualifications

• 812 years of experience in Backend / Data Engineering / Integration roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (mandatory).
• Expertise in event-driven architecture and messaging systems.
• Experience with CDC tools (e.g., Debezium) is a plus.
• Strong programming knowledge in Java / Python / Scala.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) is preferred.
