Job summary

Reed Elsevier Philippines is seeking a capable accounting professional to oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial information and statutory financial statements, audit schedules, and tax compliance. The role supports regulatory reporting and data accuracy across Finance and business units in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage the annual audit process, enforce accounting regulations, perform health checks on balance sheets, and collaborate with GFS teams to improve

Qualifications

• University degree in accounting or relevant professional qualifications.
• 2–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and taxation principles.
• High-level knowledge of Oracle R12 and Blackline.
• Familiarity with the R2R, P2P, and CRR processes.
• Proficient in balance sheet reconciliations and analytical review.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the annual audit process and statutory accounts signing.
• Enforce accounting regulations and propose process improvements.
• Compile and review financial information for Finance and business units.
• Collaborate with GFS and business units to improve tax and statutory accounting.
• Communicate risks and provide recommendations for resolution.
