Job summary

Okada Manila is seeking a Spa Therapist to inform guests about spa treatments, deliver and re-book services, and assist with facility use. You will resolve guest concerns and support promotions while maintaining equipment readiness and guest care.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year in therapy or spa operations, fluent English, and ability to work flexible shifts including overnights, weekends, and holidays. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• College graduate is an advantage.
• Certification as qualified therapist or equivalent professional training is preferred.
• At least 1 year working experience in Therapy, Nursing or Spa Operations or equivalent service area at a 5 star hotel or beauty/medical/wellness facility.
• Fluent in oral and written English.
• Able to work on flexible shifts including overnight, weekends and holidays on rotation basis.

Responsibilities

• Informs and recommends to guests, spa treatments and therapeutic services plus assistance in use of facilities and providing retail recommendation/sales
• Maximizes guest revenue potential, satisfaction and utilization by delivering and re-booking spa and wellness services & facilities. Provide alternatives if their first request/choice cannot be met.
• Efficiently resolves issue or guest complaint
• Ensures that all equipment associated with service functions at all times
• Assists with demonstrations, journalist visits, promotional activities and other departmental or hotel events
• Answers all questions related to services and identify the benefit or advantage of treatments
• Prepares and presents complimentary welcome and farewell rituals, tokens, and information packets to specific guest experience categories
• Works and coordinates well with other Departments to ensure smooth arrangements regarding all spa and wellness activities
• Reports accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and/or security issues to the management
• Performs other reasonable job duties as assigned by management from time to time

Technical Skills

• Experience and/or working knowledge in:

• Massage (Swedish, Shiatsu, Thai, Balinese, Sports, Lymphatic Drainage, Stone, etc)

• Facial (knowledge of facial drainage and extraction a plus)

• Exfoliation

• Envelopment

• Reiki

Other Qualifications

• Fluent in oral and written English

• Able to work on flexible shifts including overnight, weekends and holidays on rotation basis
