Job summary

Cevio Hotel Corporation in Tacloban, Philippines seeks an experienced Spa Therapist. The ideal candidate will hold a TESDA NC II in Massage Therapy, have 1–2 years of spa experience in hotels or resorts, and be skilled in Swedish and therapeutic massage, with strong customer service.

Maintenance of sanitation standards, ability to assess contraindications, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Massage Therapy, Beauty and Wellness, Cosmetology, or related vocational course.
• Must possess a valid TESDA National Certificate (NC II) in Massage Therapy or an equivalent recognized certification.
• At least 1-2 years of experience as a Spa Therapist or Massage Therapist in hotels, resorts, spas, or similar establishments.
• Knowledge of Swedish, therapeutic, deep tissue massage and other wellness treatments.
• Familiarity with body treatments, spa products, aromatherapy, and basic skincare procedures.
• Knowledge of sanitation, hygiene, infection prevention, and safe handling of spa equipment.
• Ability to conduct client consultations and identify treatment contraindications.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills for a relaxing guest experience.
• Physically fit for extended massage sessions.
• Professional, trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of guest privacy.
• Good communication with local and international guests.
• Ability to recommend spa treatments and packages.
• Well-groomed, detail-oriented and high service standards.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work independently and with spa team.
• Previous experience in a four-star hotel or luxury spa is a plus.
