Job Description

The Spa Therapist provides a range of professional spa treatments to clients, ensuring their comfort and relaxation while delivering high-quality service.

Treatment Delivery:

• Perform a variety of spa treatments, including:
• Massages: Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, hot stone, traditional Filipino Hilot
• Facials: Classic, deep cleansing, anti-aging, aromatherapy
• Body Treatments: Scrubs, wraps, mud baths
• Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Tailor treatments to individual client needs and preferences, considering any contraindications.
• Ensure client comfort and safety throughout the treatment.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic treatment environment.

Client Service:

• Greet clients warmly and professionally.
• Build rapport with clients and provide excellent customer service.
• Answer client questions and address any concerns.
• Promote spa services and packages.
• Maintain client records and confidentiality.
• Maintain cleanliness and order within the treatment room.
• Ensure proper sanitation and sterilization of all equipment and tools.
• Assist with inventory management of spa products.
• Professional Development:
• Stay updated on the latest spa treatment techniques and trends.
• Participate in continuing education courses and workshops, including those specific to Filipino massage techniques.

Experience:

• Prior experience as a spa therapist preferred.
• Relevant certifications in massage therapy (including Filipino massage techniques if applicable) and/or esthetics are required.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a recognized spa therapy program preferred.
