Job summary

ABSI is seeking a DevOps/DevSecOps professional in the Philippines to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Python and Bash, with SQL-backed data engineering support. This role emphasizes cloud technologies and IaC to ensure scalable, secure infrastructure across development, testing, and production environments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor, automate, and optimize deployment processes, while delivering reliable operational reports and maintaining

Qualifications

• BS Computer Science or graduate of any IT-related course.
• At least 1 year actual IT development/work experience.
• Python and Bash scripting - Core at least Competent; create scripts from a design.
• SQL Engineering - Core at least Competent, not only SELECT.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for consistent and scalable environments.
• Oversee environment management across development, testing, and production systems.
• Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and incident management tools.
• Embed DevSecOps practices to ensure security and compliance in all stages.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations for agile and efficient delivery.
• Provide operational and performance reports (e.g., deployment frequency, lead time, reliability).
