Job summary

ISS STOXX is seeking a Junior Research Analyst to join the ISS STOXX Research Team in Makati. The role focuses on analyzing proxy statements to complete proxy analyses for shareholders' meetings of covered companies.

Your work includes distilling governance and financial information into research reports and proxy vote recommendations, under ISS policy guidelines, with emphasis on collaboration and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• Knowledge in investment analysis and/or financial research.
• Analytical ability and financial understanding of investment issues.
• Understanding of corporate governance issues, corporate transactions, and capital markets.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to work within a team-oriented environment.
• Average knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Amenable to working on extended hours (overtime, holiday & weekend work) as needed by the business.
• Willing to work for a full-time contractual/temporary employment that will last for 5 to 6 months.

ISS STOXX is hiring! We are seeking Junior Research Analyst to join the ISS STOXX Research Team. The main responsibility is to analyze proxy statements to complete proxy analyses for shareholders' meetings of publicly traded companies covered by ISS STOXX' Research team. This position will be based in Ayala North Exchange Makati and will report to the lead of Research handling a specific market.

RESPONSIBILITIES

WORK LOCATION & SCHEDULE

• Amenable working on a dayshift schedule. Our office is located at 12/F Ayala North Exchange Tower 2, Makati.
