The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project manager and project team with project documentation and control, scheduling, and site supervision efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks' completion.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be assigned on site and office, depending on project needs. The following are the general job responsibilities of a Junior Project Engineer:

• Execution of project/s based on outlined criteria

• Close monitoring of project site activities and consistent reporting of updates to the main office regarding project site activities

• Reporting of problems/issues on project site to the main office

• Preparation of time and motion reports

• Preparation of daily and weekly accomplishment reports

• Preparation of Bill of Quantities

• Documentation of the project/s

• Monitoring and updating of inventory of materials and equipment on project site

• Interpretation of plans/drawings

• Following of instructions diligently

• Other specific tasks pertinent to the project/s

• Engineering administrative tasks

The selected candidate will be given necessary training to perform his/her job responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Civil Engineering or related courses

• Has basic competency on Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Preferred to have basic competency on AutoCAD but this is not a must

• Has basic competency in reading plans
