Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Junior System Operations Engineer to monitor and control the distribution power system in Tagum City. You will work with the North Davao Engineering Operations Department to ensure reliable power delivery, analyze system performance, and support efficient operation within established standards.

The role emphasizes coordination with dispatch, field crews, and reliability reporting, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, asset management, and environmental compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Entry-level position; no prior professional experience required.

Responsibilities

• Control, monitor, and operate the distribution network to maintain electrical parameters within thresholds and restore outages.
• Formulate next-day load forecasts and coordinate with grid operators for power supply nomination.
• Analyze system stability and generate technical reports to ensure ERC, DMC, GSL, and APDU standards.
• Coordinate in real-time with dispatch and field crews during abnormalities; support administrative tasks while following ISO IMS and safety guidelines.
