Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking an Assistant Pastry Artisan to join our kitchen team. This entry-level role offers hands-on training as you work with senior pastry artisans, assist with daily production and finishing tasks, and learn to follow recipes and SOPs.

You should have 6 months to 2 years in a kitchen or bakery, basic knowledge of kitchen safety, and a willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 2 years in a kitchen, bakery, pastry or food production.
• Culinary school or TESDA training is an advantage but not required.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen safety, hygiene and food handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist pastry and bakery production and finishing tasks under senior artisans.
• Follow recipes, procedures and kitchen SOPs accurately.
• Prepare and measure ingredients according to production needs.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and food safety standards.
• Handle kitchen tools, equipment, and ingredients properly.
• Complete assigned tasks accurately within the timeline.
• Participate in training and meet skill milestones.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and report concerns promptly.
• Support the team during peak periods, weekends and holidays.
• Keep workstation organized and clean throughout the shift.
