Job summary

MicroSourcing in the Philippines is seeking a Junior Lawyer to join onsite in Eastwood, Quezon City. You will review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts, support property transactions and leasing, and provide legal research to advise on workplace relations and HR compliance.

You will conduct research to prepare clear, commercially aligned advice for internal units and assist in dispute resolution, regulatory investigations, and compliance frameworks.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with 1–4 years PAE, preferably from private practice or in-house team.
• Solid experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Strong legal research and clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple files, shift priorities, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate standard commercial contracts, supplier agreements, and vendor terms.
• Assist with property transactions, retail fuel site operations, and leasing documentation.
• Provide legal research and advisory support on workplace relations and HR compliance.

Your Role

As a Junior Lawyer, you will:

• Contract Review & Negotiation: Review, draft, and negotiate standard commercial contracts, supplier agreements, and vendor terms.
• Property & Leasing Operational Support: Assist with property transactions, retail fuel site operations, and commercial/retail leasing documentation.
• Employment & Workplace Relations: Provide legal research and advisory support on workplace relations, employment agreements, and HR compliance matters.
• Legal Research & Stakeholder Advice: Conduct legal research to prepare clear, commercially aligned advice for internal business units.
• Dispute & Regulatory Management: Support dispute resolution processes, litigation files, regulatory investigations, and corporate compliance frameworks.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Legal Qualification & Post-Admission Experience: Qualified lawyer with 1-4 years Post-Admission Experience (PAE), preferably gained within private practice or an established in-house legal team.
• Commercial Contract Drafting: Solid foundational experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements and contracts.
• Legal Research & Communication: Strong legal research capabilities and clear, persuasive written and verbal communication skills.
• Prioritization & Deadline Discipline: Proven ability to manage competing legal files, handle shifting priorities, and meet tight business deadlines.
• Commercial Mindset & Attention to Detail: Sharp attention to legal detail combined with sound commercial judgment and a practical problem-solving approach.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Direct experience supporting commercial property, retail leasing, energy, fuel, or multi-site operational sectors.
• Exposure to Australian employment law, Modern Awards, and workplace relations legislation.
• Familiarity with dispute management procedures and regulatory compliance auditing.
• Experience utilizing contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms and legal document repositories.
