Job summary

AmSpec Testing Services Pte Ltd in the Philippines is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to conduct testing and analysis of oil and gas samples using standard methods, while maintaining records and preparing reports. You will ensure safety, GLP compliance, and timely reporting with a diploma in science/chemistry. Experience in OGC is a plus; willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts after probation.

Training will be provided; salary will be commensurate with experience and skills.

Qualifications

  • Diploma / Degree in Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Relevant work experience in the OGC industry or a laboratory environment is an advantage.
  • Ability to understand and follow ASTM standards and procedures.
  • Comfortable working with chemicals, petrochemical, and petroleum products.
  • Able to accurately differentiate colours by sight.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks with different deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to multitask and work independently as well as in a team.
  • Positive attitude and good teamwork.
  • Willing to learn and adapt to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
  • Proactive in maintaining housekeeping standards before and after work.
  • Dependable and reliable, with good attendance and commitment to work.
  • Required to work a 12-hour rotating shift upon confirmation after the 3-month probation period.

Responsibilities
