Job summary

Computer Professionals Inc. is seeking a Junior Developer to design, code, test, and support Java-based web applications. The role requires translating specifications into code, following lifecycle processes, and producing design docs and documentation.

You will work onsite in Manila, 5 days a week, and engage in project-based engagements as assigned. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience, familiarity with MVC architecture, and experience with WebSphere, Tomcat, or GlassFish.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Junior Developer.
• Knowledge of architecture patterns, especially MVC.
• Experience with web servers (WebSphere, Tomcat, GlassFish).
• Amenable to work onsite 5x a week in Manila.
• Willing to accept Project-Based Type of Employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop web-based applications and implement features using Java.

• Understands the technical specifications and design and translate it to program code
• Develops web-based applications and implement features and functionalities using Java Programming Language
• Follows approved systems/applications life-cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing.
• Resolves technical issues through debugging, research and investigation
• Creates relevant technical documentations and manual for the applications
• Provides technical support to users.

What We’re Looking For

• Has at least 1 year of experience as a Junior Developer
• Has knowledge on architecture patterns, especially MVC
• Has experience in using web servers (WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat, Glassfish, etc.)
