Job summary

Computer Professionals Inc. is seeking a Junior Developer to design, code, test, and support Java-based web applications. The role requires translating specifications into code, following lifecycle processes, and producing design docs and documentation.

You will work onsite in Manila, 5 days a week, and engage in project-based engagements as assigned. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience, familiarity with MVC architecture, and experience with WebSphere, Tomcat, or GlassFish.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Junior Developer.
• Knowledge of architecture patterns, especially MVC.
• Experience with web servers (WebSphere, Tomcat, GlassFish).
• Amenable to work onsite 5x a week in Manila.
• Willing to accept Project-Based Type of Employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop web-based applications and implement features using Java.
• Translate specifications into program code and follow lifecycle methodologies.
• Create design documents and perform coding and testing.
• Debug and resolve technical issues through research and investigation.
• Create technical documentation and user manuals for applications.
• Provide technical support to users.
