Job summary

Newport World Resorts is seeking an Internal Audit Associate to support fieldwork, interviews, and document examination. You will prepare working papers and substantiated audit findings for review by the Officer or higher.

Fresh graduates are welcome. Strong written and verbal communication, analytical and critical thinking, and proficiency in Google Suite and Excel are preferred, with opportunities to learn and grow in internal auditing and risk management.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic theoretical knowledge on internal auditing and risk management.
• Proficient in computer applications (Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering initial information and data for planning audit strategies.
• Assist in risk assessment of the area under audit.
• Participate in audit planning discussions with data insights.
• Prepare tools and questionnaires prior to fieldwork.
• Perform understanding of processes and identify controls.
• Conduct audit procedures (interviews, document reviews, analysis).
• Prepare working papers and audit observations with recommendations.
• Submit audit briefs and findings within timelines.
• Follow up on implementation of audit actions.
