Job summary

WTA seeks a Junior Interior Designer to develop creative interior concepts and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on innovative projects. The candidate will work with the design team to produce comprehensive design drawings and documentation, while conducting research to understand project requirements and constraints.

We value a strong portfolio, knowledge of layout design, lighting, and materials, and the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or equivalent.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or equivalent.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical skills.
• Knowledge of layout design, color theory, lighting, materials, and custom furniture.
• Attention to detail, imagination and passion for design.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design team to develop interior concepts.
• Produce comprehensive design drawings and documentation.
• Conduct research to understand project requirements and constraints.
• Develop solutions integrating user needs, environment, and aesthetics.
• Participate in project meetings and client presentations.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and contractors.
• Manage timelines, budgets and resources to deliver projects.
