Job summary

Nexperia is seeking an Industrial Engineer in Laguna to support IE core activities and drive capacity improvements. The role focuses on optimizing processes, balancing lines, and improving layout for existing packages with cross‑functional teams.

You will work on labor productivity projects, capacity planning, and data analysis using Excel and Power BI. A background in semiconductors is preferred, with strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Industrial Engineering degree required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience (semiconductor preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Function as the area IE for three processes and perform multiple IE tasks to support KPIs.
• Drive and support labor productivity projects to achieve headcount reductions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on VSM, MOOI, OEE and layout improvements.
• Review and update processing time and net factor for PC&A for existing packages each cycle.
• Execute layout changes per area based on capacity ramp requirements.
• Create and update capacity models based on UPH and OEE per process.
• Perform capacity planning and line balancing per customer demand.
• Support internal customers with analysis of projected gains/impacts.
• Handle other projects assigned by the manager within timelines.

About the role

This role will be responsible to support IE core activities.

What you will do

• Function as the area IE of three processes/area and perform multiple IE tasks that can help achieve the company KPI target.
• Drive and support labor productivity projects resulting in headcount reductions.
• Collaborate and work with cross-functional teams on VSM, MOOI, OEE and layout improvement programs for existing packages.
• Review and update the processing time and net factor of the product cost and accounting (PC&A) for existing packages every cycle.
• Execute layout changes per area based on capacity ramp requirement
• Create and update capacity models based on validated UPH and OEE per process.
• Perform capacity planning and line balancing as required by the customer demand.
• Support the internal customers request through analysis of projected gains/impact.
• Work on other projects tasked by the manager with a given timeline

What you will need

• Must be Industrial Engineering graduate or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of working experience in related field is required for this position (preferably Semiconductor company)
• Good in oral and written communication
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Fundamentals, Work Measurement, Capacity Planning, Operation Research and Statistical Analysis
• Knowledgeable in data analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, etc.
