Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Europe seeks a Junior Technical Project Engineer to join our Grid Integration team in Rotterdam. You will design high-voltage substations, develop SLDs, protection schemes, and 3D Revit models, coordinating with customers and partners to deliver on time and within budget.

You bring a degree in electrical engineering, interest in HV systems, knowledge of protection concepts, and experience with Revit/AutoCAD; fluency in Dutch and English is required, with occasional site visits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, power systems, or related field.
• Strong interest in high-voltage substations and protection systems.
• Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support design of high-voltage substations and grid stabilization systems.
• Develop and maintain SLDs, protection & control schematics, wiring diagrams, and 3D models (Revit).
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence.
• Review technical documentation and support FAT/SAT activities.
