Job summary

MSK Construction, Inc. seeks a Geodetic Engineer to join the surveying team in our Philippines operation. You will directly survey land, establish reference points, grades and elevations, and verify data to meet project specifications.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Geodetic Engineer; if not licensed, has 3 years' surveying/geodetic experience and at least 1 year in the related field, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Licensed Geodetic Engineer; if not licensed, 3 years' surveying/geodetic experience.
• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field.

Responsibilities

• Direct and/or participate in surveying the land to lay out installations and establish reference points, grades, and elevations.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, topographical or geologic data to ensure adherence to project specifications or land survey standards.
• Calculate the exact horizontal and vertical positions of points on earth's surface.
• Verify the mathematical accuracy of the collected survey data.
• Provide technical advice as needed for the project plan.
• Assess the quality of the control data to determine the need for additional survey data for construction.
• Maintain the database on geodetic data including qualitative descriptions.
• Other tasks as assigned.
• Must be able to adjust in a fast-paced environment and work with minimum supervision.
