Job summary

Cooee Inc. Career (Be one of us) partners with a leading Australian company to hire an entry-level Fire System Drafting professional in Iloilo.

You will support drafting fire protection layouts, installation documentation, and coordination with architectural and MEP drawings using AutoCAD and BIM tools. You will learn Australian standards AS 2118, AS 1670, AS 2419 under guidance, assist engineers and estimators with system layouts and design documentation, and help prepare drawings for tender

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates up to 2 years of drafting experience in fire protection, MEPF, or building services.
• Familiarity with Australian Standards AS 2118, AS 1670, AS 2419 is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Fire System Drafting & Design.
• Draft fire detection and alarm system layouts, including detectors, control panels, modules, and field devices.
• Prepare installation drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate fire system layouts with architectural, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical drawings.
• Assist engineers and estimators with system layouts and design documentation.
• Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Support the preparation of drawings for tender submissions and project delivery.
• Maintain drawing registers and revision controls.
• Produce equipment schedules and material take-offs when required.
• Update and revise drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
