Responsibilities

• Allocate and reconcile customer payments across multiple accounts and currencies.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare reconciliation reports and support month-end close activities.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve variances.
• Process refunds, adjustments, and account maintenance requests.
• Investigate payment disputes and chargebacks.
• Manage unallocated funds and account suppression activities.
• Maintain direct debit authorities and ensure compliance with customer agreements.
• Provide accurate data entry and administrative support.
• Deliver excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Junior Financial Accountant to join our Consumer Finance team.

The Opportunity Reporting to the Supervisor, Receivables & Reconciliations, you'll play an important role in supporting our finance operations by ensuring cash allocation, banking, reconciliations, and account administration processes are completed accurately and efficiently. Your work will directly contribute to the financial health of the business while helping deliver an exceptional experience for both internal and external customers.

How You'll Shine

What You'll Bring

• Experience in an Accounts Receivable, Reconciliations, Bookkeeping, Finance Administration, or Junior Accounting position.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Experience handling payment allocations, banking transactions, and account reconciliations.
• Strong reporting and analytical skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• The ability to work to deadlines, particularly during month-end periods.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
