Job summary

ISS STOXX unit seeks a Junior Data Analyst to support the Global Meeting Services (GMS) team. You will help monitor corporate action events, collect documents, and enter data for client reports and voting analyses.

Work starts onsite five days a week for the first two months, then shifts to a hybrid model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). Strong English, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Understanding corporate governance, corporate transactions, and capital markets is an advantage.
• Familiarity with AI tools and similar technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor corporate action events and sources for shareholders’ meetings.
• Procure shareholder meeting documents such as annual reports and notices.
• Engage issuers via email or phone for details.
• Collect meeting details: date, type, record date, location, time, and voting instructions.
• Determine securities with voting rights (ISIN, SEDOL, CUSIP, CINS).
• Encode meeting agenda and voting details into the database.
• Record meeting results into the database.
• Assist with other projects and investigations as needed.
• Communicate effectively with ISS teams and clients.
• Respond to queries from clients, issuers, and stakeholders.
• Participate in committees and project initiatives.
