Job summary

Relx Plc in the Philippines is seeking an entry-level Data Analyst I to support the Reports and Business Analytics (RBA) Team through data preparation, reporting, dashboard maintenance, stakeholder reporting, and analytical activities. You will work under the guidance of more senior analysts while developing technical, analytical, and business acumen.

The Data Analyst I contributes to data-driven decision-making by collecting, preparing, analyzing, visualizing, and presenting data and insights

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in Data Analytics, BI, Reporting, Data Management, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Math, CS, IS, Business, Economics, or related courses.
• Exposure to SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar analytics tools preferred.
• Experience with data from multiple sources is a plus.
• Exposure to AI, Generative AI, ML concepts, or AI-assisted tools is a plus.
• Ability to learn enterprise AI tools for technical workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support senior analysts in delivering reporting, analytics, and BI solutions.
• Extract, consolidate, cleanse, validate, and prepare data from multiple approved sources.
• Build, maintain, and update recurring reports, dashboards, scorecards, and information products.
• Maintain reporting solutions for accuracy, relevance, reliability, and value.
• Perform data quality checks and ensure accuracy of reporting outputs.
• Assist in developing data visualizations that communicate insights clearly.
• Conduct basic analyses to identify trends, performance indicators, opportunities, and risks.
• Support stakeholders by gathering data and providing analytical outputs.
• Present reports, dashboards, and findings to stakeholders with clear insights and actions.
• Translate findings into actionable insights for decision-making.
• Follow data governance, security, and reporting standards.
• Document data sources, business rules, and reporting processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality and reporting efficiency.
• Escalate data issues and blockers to senior team members.
• Participate in testing of new reports and analytics solutions.
