Job summary

RippedBoxStation is seeking a Junior Developer (Cloud Products) to join the team in Manila. You will assist in building cloud-native applications across AWS, Azure, or GCP, and help maintain serverless and containerized services under senior guidance.

You'll gain exposure to APIs, microservices, and cloud deployment, while contributing to testing, documentation, and continuous improvement within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in software development or cloud app development.
• Basic understanding of cloud concepts and cloud-native development.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Basic knowledge of serverless, containers, and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing cloud-native apps using AWS/Azure/GCP services.
• Support serverless apps with Lambda/Functions/Cloud Functions.
• Assist in building and deploying containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Contribute to cloud modernization by migrating existing apps.
• Participate in developing APIs and microservices.
• Perform unit testing, bug fixing, and simple feature enhancements.
• Assist in implementing cloud security, monitoring, and logging.
• Collaborate with Dev, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver tasks.
• Maintain deployment guides and cloud architecture docs.
• Follow best practices and Agile methodologies.
