Job summary

Omega Global Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Junior Buyer to join our Calabarzon-based team. This on-site role supports procurement of materials and services, ensuring timely availability for production and customers.

You will prepare POs, track orders, coordinate with suppliers, and maintain purchasing records. You will monitor inventory levels, assist with excess materials handling, and work with operations, logistics, and engineering to resolve supply issues.

Qualifications

• Foundational procurement skills: PO creation, supplier communication, and basic negotiation.
• Inventory and materials management awareness: monitor stock, support VMI, kitting, excess management.
• Analytical and organizational skills: accuracy in data entry and attention to detail.
• Effective communication to collaborate with suppliers, logistics, and internal teams.
• Follow established processes, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Education in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel) and digital procurement platforms.
• 1–2 years in purchasing or logistics is an advantage.

Role Description The Junior Buyer is a full-time, on-site role based in Calabarzon, Philippines. This position is responsible for assisting in the procurement of materials, components, and services, ensuring timely availability to meet production and customer requirements. Day-to-day activities include preparing purchase orders, tracking order status, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining accurate purchasing records. The Junior Buyer monitors inventory levels, supports the handling of excess and obsolete materials, and collaborates with internal teams such as operations, logistics, and engineering to resolve supply issues. The role also involves basic market research on pricing and suppliers, adherence to company purchasing policies, and support for continuous improvement initiatives in the supply chain process.

Qualifications

• Foundational procurement skills, including purchase order creation, supplier communication, and basic negotiation abilities.
• Inventory and materials management awareness, with the ability to monitor stock levels and support VMI, kitting, and excess management activities.
• Analytical and organizational skills, including attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and basic use of inventory or ERP systems.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with suppliers, logistics partners, and cross-functional internal teams.
• Ability to follow established processes, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Relevant education such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (especially Excel) and comfort working with digital procurement and inventory platforms.
• Previous internship or 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or logistics is an advantage, preferably in manufacturing or electronics.
