ASIA OVERSEAS TRANSPORT CO., INC., (AOTCI) is seeking an experienced General Accountant to join our finance team in Parañaque. The role involves managing general accounting duties, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accuracy in bank reconciliations and airline sales reporting.

The candidate should have a strong background in taxation, software adaptation, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy is required.
• At least five years of work experience in General Accounting.
• Experience in preparing financial reports.
• Experience in preparing bank reconciliations.
• Experience in preparing airlines sales reports.
• Experience in analyzing various accounts.
• Ability to adapt accounting software and database management systems.
• Knowledgeable in handling bank transactions.
• Knowledgeable in taxation & BIR filing.
• Knowledge in monitoring receivables and preparing schedules.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Computer literate with typing skills.
• Capable to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Reconciling bank accounts and cash balances.
• Prepare airlines sales reports and reconcile with postings.
• Analyze accounts and support month-end close.
• Assist in tax filings and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with finance team and other departments.
• Continuously improve accounting processes and software usage.

Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
