Job summary

OceanaGold (Philippines) Inc. is seeking a suitably qualified Jumbo Operator to operate and maintain jumbo drilling equipment safely in underground mining at the Didipio mine on Luzon Island.

The role reports to the mining supervisor and focuses on drilling efficiency, accuracy, and team mentorship. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Jumbo Operation experience with Sandvik DD421, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school graduate is required.
• 5+ years experience in Jumbo Operation with Sandvik DD421.
• Knowledge of mining operation and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Implements advanced drilling techniques and technologies to improve drilling efficiency and accuracy.
• Trains and mentors junior operators, sharing best practices and guidance on jumbo operation techniques.
• Safely operate other underground mining equipment and support activities.

Job Description

The Didipio mine is located on Luzon Island in the Philippines and is the Company’s only asset that produces both gold and copper.Didipio was built by OceanaGold in 2013 and operates fully as underground mine, with over 800 employees that support the mine.

OceanaGold is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and reliable Jumbo Operatortooperateand maintain jumbo drilling equipment efficiently and safely in underground mining operations reportingreport to the mining supervisor.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Implements advanced drilling techniques and technologies to improve drilling efficiency and accuracy.
• Trains andmentorsjunior operators, sharing best practices and providing guidance on jumbo operation techniques.
