Job summary

Kooapps in Makati City is seeking a data-focused professional to work with large datasets to identify gaming experience insights and develop innovative ways to understand data correlations.

You will collaborate with production teams to ensure data is specified and consistent, and help scope future work. Strong programming in SQL, Python, R, Java and Perl and a BS in CS or related field are expected.

Qualifications

• Programming experience in SQL, Python, R, Java and Perl.
• BS in CS, Math, Statistics, Economics or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of applied mathematics and statistical methods.
• Experience in data mining, data-intensive development, databases and ML/statistics software.
• Familiar with information retrieval, NLP, ML or text-mining.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Proficient English communication and timely work ethic.
• Willing to work in Makati City and Monday to Saturday.

Requirements

• Experience in programming with SQL, Python, R, Java, and Perl
• BS Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics or equivalent
• Broad knowledge of applied mathematics, statistical methods and algorithms
• Experience in data mining, data-intensive application development, databases, object-oriented design, machine learning algorithms and statistics software, predictive modeling, data analysis
• Familiar with information retrieval, knowledge representation, computational linguistics, natural language processing, machine learning or text-mining
• Problem-solver with strong analytical skills
• Passionate in software and video games
• Can communicate effectively in English
• Can work in a timely manner
• Team player
• Willing to work in Makati City (Staff house provided)
• Willing to work Monday to Saturday
