Qualifications

About the Hiring Company

The BI & Data Manager will lead the data strategy and business intelligence function for our platform. This role is responsible for transforming raw data into strategic insights that drive leadership decision-making and operational excellence. Beyond technical execution, the Manager will own the architecture of our reporting ecosystem, ensuring that all key performance indicators (KPIs) are tracked accurately and consistently. The ideal candidate is a data expert with a deep understanding of gaming analytics who can bridge the gap between complex data modeling and high-level business strategy.

Job Responsibilities

1. Data Strategy & Management

   • Metric Ownership: Lead the tracking and analysis of all key platform metrics, including DAU, FTD, GGR, NGR, retention rates, and content engagement.

   • Data Modeling: Oversee the design and maintenance of robust data models to ensure a "single source of truth" across the organization.

   • Campaign Intelligence: Evaluate marketing and promotional campaign performance, providing data-driven recommendations to optimize ROI and player acquisition.

2. Business Intelligence & Reporting

   • Dashboard Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of advanced dashboards in Tableau, Metabase, or Power BI for real-time leadership monitoring.

   • Player Behavior Analysis: Direct deep-dive studies into player lifecycles, churn patterns, and engagement triggers to inform product and marketing strategies.

   • Automated Reporting: Streamline and automate recurring reporting processes to ensure the Business Operations team has instant access to critical data.

3. Technical Leadership & Collaboration

   • Strategic Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for technical teams regarding data warehousing, ETL processes, and SQL database optimization.

   • Decision Support: Present complex analytical findings to the Head of Business Unit and executive stakeholders in a clear, non-technical, and actionable manner.

   • Data Governance: Ensure data privacy and security standards are met across all BI tools and reporting workflows.

The Successful Candidate

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

• 5 years in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics, with at least 3 years in a managerial or lead capacity.

• Expert-level SQL skills and hands-on experience with BI tools like Tableau, Metabase, or Power BI.

• Proven experience in gaming analytics and a mastery of industry-specific metrics (GGR, NGR, FTD).

• Strong ability to manage data projects from conception to delivery while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.

• Prior experience in the iGaming or Fintech sectors is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of Python or R for predictive modeling and advanced statistical analysis.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for "storytelling" through data.
