Emapta is hiring a Jr Construction Estimator - Quantity Takeoff to translate U.S. construction plans into precise quantities using OST and Bluebeam. You’ll work with international estimators, gain exposure to CSI divisions, and advance through Emapta’s academy and career programs.

The role requires a Civil Eng degree with 1-2 years in estimating or related construction work. Hybrid setup in Pampanga with night shift during probation and eventual 2-3 remote days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in construction estimating, preconstruction, quantity takeoffs (QTO), or related roles.
• Basic proficiency in OST, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel.
• Exposure to Box, SharePoint, or Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, CSI divisions, estimating templates, document control, and QTO workflows.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, accuracy, and deadlines.
• Clear professional English communication; collaborative and proactive approach.
• Must be based in Pampanga or nearby and willing to onsite during probation.
• Willing to work permanent night/graveyard shift with Pacific Time schedule.
• Willing to transition to hybrid setup with 2-3 remote days per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update document logs, including OCR processing, bookmarking, overlays, and change narratives.
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs under supervision across standard trades and assigned specialties.
• Communicate with U.S. Estimators and Assistant Team Leads to resolve discrepancies and clarify project requirements.
• Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bulletins for estimating purposes.
• Apply standard quantity take-off (QTO) processes to estimating outputs.
• Support clients by delivering timely and accurate outputs.
• Utilize OST, Bluebeam, Box, SharePoint, OneDrive, and MS Excel to perform quantity take-offs, create markups, and manage project documentation.

As a Jr Construction Estimator - Quantity Takeoff, you'll translate U.S. construction plans into precise quantities and traceable estimating data using On-Screen Takeoff (OST) and Bluebeam. Work alongside international estimating professionals, deepen your command of preconstruction, CSI divisions, and quantity takeoffs, and develop specialized technical expertise through Emapta's Top 1% Talent experience and sustained professional advancement.

• Must be based in Pampanga or within reasonable commuting distance and willing to work onsite during the probationary period
• Must be comfortable with a permanent night/graveyard shift following a Monday-Friday Pacific Time schedule
• Willing to transition to a hybrid setup upon regularization, with 2-3 remote workdays per week, subject to company policy
• Willing to comply with the organization's Telecommuting Policy and English Only Policy (EOP)
