Job summary

Smart Outsourcing Solution is seeking a skilled JavaScript/TypeScript Developer in the Philippines to build, customise and integrate business applications across a Microsoft 365 environment. You will write clean, scalable code and work with APIs, HTML, CSS and modern web technologies to deliver robust business solutions.

The role emphasizes strong development skills, REST API integrations and the ability to work with component-based Microsoft technologies, including Graph API, in a dynamic team

Qualifications

• Strong commercial JavaScript development experience.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, DOM, JavaScript events, asynchronous programming, promises/async‑await, JSON and REST APIs.
• Experience building or maintaining web applications and business systems.
• Experience integrating applications using APIs.
• Experience with Git or another version‑control system.
• Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production‑quality JavaScript and TypeScript applications
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable and well‑structured code
• Build client‑side functionality using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS
• Develop custom business functionality and integrations
• Work with asynchronous programming, events, promises and modern JavaScript patterns
• Debug, troubleshoot and optimise existing applications
• Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs
• Work with JSON, HTTP requests, authentication and API endpoints
• Integrate business applications with Microsoft 365 and external systems
• Work with Microsoft Graph API
