Job summary

24/7 International Corporation is seeking a software engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications in the Metro Manila area. You will troubleshoot and fix issues, deploy changes, and perform thorough testing to ensure stability.

The role requires collaboration with analysts, QA, and infrastructure teams, and active participation in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to maintain high coding standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, software engineering or related field.
• At least 2–5 years of experience in software or system development.
• Strong experience in Java enterprise application development.
• Experience in debugging, enhancement, and production support.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, database integration, and web application development.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications and system functionalities based on requirements.
• Provide application support, troubleshooting, and bug fixes for system issues.
• Deploy programs and system changes following standard deployment procedures.
• Perform code testing, debugging, and validation to ensure quality.
• Analyze technical requirements and propose solutions and recommendations.
• Serve as a technical resource for development, enhancements, and inquiries.
• Collaborate with BAs, QA, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders during development and deployment.
• Develop and maintain APIs, backend services, and web-based applications using approved technologies.
• Monitor system performance and assist in resolving production incidents.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for programs and deployments.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and follow coding standards.
